What I Do - Arranging
![]()
This is where I take music written for one instrument and make it playable on the guitar.
Just to confuse matters, some musicians - usually classical ones - call this 'transcribing', but I mean the latter.
The cost is just as per transcribing (my meaning), that is, either a FLAT RATE FEE FOR EASY PIECES, or a FLAT RATE FEE FOR DIFFICULT PIECES.

Composer: 'De Ley, Alain (arr. Hunter, P.)'.
Alain is a Belgian composer who writes interesting orchestral music and sometimes writes parts for the six silver strings. A new piece by him called "Liquid Waltz" is set to debut in Ghent, Belgium on 6 and 7 January 2003. I helped out a little with the guitar part on this.
If you live in Belgium (or nearby) think about attending one of his operas or concerts - and importantly, do encourage him to write more pieces for the guitar!
You can visit Alain's website HERE.
