Flat Rate Scheme For Complex Or Long Pieces
IMPORTANT. IF THE PIECE OF MUSIC YOU WANT TRANSCRIBING OR ARRANGING IS NOT COMPLEX OR LONG, CHECK OUT MY RATES FOR 'EASY' OR 'NORMAL' PIECES HERE.
• If you feel the prices mentioned here are hard to justify for the kind of work you want click HERE to 'talk turkey'
• If you want to order MORE THAN ONE PIECE click HERE for some great discounts!
• IMPORTANT! Occasionally I am asked to transcribe a piece which is beyond even the 'complex' flat rates. If this is the case you will need to click HERE.
Over the years I have used a variety of methods to give estimates for my services, but now I actually offer two FLAT RATE choices:-
• A FLAT RATE FOR COMPLEX OR LONG PIECES (this page).
• A FLAT RATE FOR 'EASY' OR 'NORMAL' PIECES.
You are now on the page that sets out flat rates for COMPLEX OR LONG pieces.
To peruse my rates for 'EASY' OR 'NORMAL' PIECES, please click here HERE.
If you want to make a 'flat-rate' payment for a COMPLEX OR LONG PIECE now, scroll down this page.
• Please be aware that there are discounts for repeat custom - click HERE - so those price increases can be reduced!
IMPORTANT: at the start of a business relationship I usually only do the work upon receipt of AT LEAST HALF the payment up-front.
There are 4 types of flat-rate transcription for COMPLEX OR LONG pieces.
- Transcription of 1 (DIFFICULT) guitar or bass part with Notation AND Tablature (whole song) = £100
- Transcription of 2 - 3 (DIFFICULT) guitar or bass parts with Notation AND Tablature (whole song) = £150
- Transcription of 1 (DIFFICULT) guitar or (DIFFICULT) bass part Notation only, or Tab only (for the whole song) = £80
- Transcription of 2 - 3 (DIFFICULT) guitar or bass parts Notation only, or Tab only (for the whole song) = £120
Payment can be made by Pay Pal, cheque, 'Nochex' or even cash.
But by far the easiest way to get money to me is to use Pay Pal. For details on the alternative payment methods, scroll further down this page.
Pay Pal is like using a credit card, just as secure, and less painful (because you don't need to keep inputting c/card details every time you buy something on the Net). Many countries now accept Pay Pal, so if possible, this is the way to go.
You DO NOT be a member of this service to transfer funds - as long as you have a credit card you can start using it straight away.
IMPORTANT! Before clicking on any of the Pay Pal buttons below, or sending me money in any other way, you MUST contact me to see if I am willing to transcribe the piece you are interested in having transcribed or arranged.
Please contact me using one of the methods outlined HERE.
Click on the button below to transfer the amount we agreed by e-mail for my personal services.
IMPORTANT: these prices are in UK Pounds Sterling, so non-UK users will need to convert to their local currency - to use my currency conversion page click HERE

Alternative payment methods
- A cheque drawn on a British bank
If you can do this my bank can treat the cheque as a normal UK cheque, otherwise they might not be able to process it all, or if they can do it, it may take up to twenty eight days.
- 'Nochex'
'Nochex' is a UK-based service which enables secure wire transfers between bank accounts. Join HERE
- Cash
This is obviously a risky option. If you choose this option, please secure it very carefully (a la 'Russian doll' principle would be a good idea!).
Although this is possible, I must point out that my local bank extorts quite a hefty chunk out of this transcaction, probably $10 per average transaction. So if you do choose this method I must unfortunately ask you to send an extra $10.
- International Money Order
I can only do this for IMO's written in US dollars. Unfortunately a similar problem to that of cash applies: my local bank takes $5 dollars per IMO transaction (up to $10,000, or £10,000 I think).
If the cost is very high I can accept payment in installments, but this has to be an agreed amount on an agreed schedule.

(That's another reason to prefer PayPal, because your 'PayPal' payment to me is debited from your c/card, which you then pay off at a pace that suits you).
The maximum postage is £5 UK; [£10 International] - that's approx. $8 - $15 USD. I quite often ignore this cost on larger orders.
